Set back behind a gated entry in a quiet patch of woods, the cottage sits on over an acre of land often frequented by a family of deer. It's a wonderfully serene spot, yet still only two miles from Vashon's North End Ferry Terminal. You'll be perfectly placed for hiking Fern Cove (two miles) or heading into the village of Vashon (two miles) to enjoy the charming shops, restaurants, and lively music scene.
Stepping inside, you're greeted by a style that's both contemporary and classic - think hardwood floors, thoughtful built-ins, a remodeled kitchen and bathroom, and picture windows framing the forest. Highlights of the interior include the elegant kitchen with its new appliances, a vintage-inspired dining room where you can play board games by the soapstone accent stove, and a spacious living room with a limestone fireplace and smart TV (with Xbox One).
The outdoor spaces are equally alluring, whether you're sipping locally roasted coffee on the covered porch, barbecuing on the gas grill, or telling stories around the firepit in the evenings. Two inviting bedrooms, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.
