The daily price shown, is for rental of the Finca, for your group only, up to a maximum of 16 persons. Infants under age 2, do not count as part of that maximum capacity.
There are 3 available rooms for guests, with a sleeping capacity of 16 persons in total. We can extend this to 20 person's by request and open a fourth bedroom with two bunk beds. The maximum number of people we allow at the property at any one time is 20. Please do not book if your group is larger than 20 people, as we are strict on this rule and will refuse entry to additional visitors.
Bookings for a daytime only event (the Pasadia/Day-Pass) is from 8am to 6pm. Please message us with the number of people expected, and if the day-pass is for a birthday/ graduation etc so we can provide additional items accordingly (tables, gazebo, etc.) and provide the cost per person. There will be no entry to bedrooms for pasadia bookings.
The lounge and kitchen inside the main Finca residence is for the use of the on-site house-keeper and ground-keeper and will be locked in the evenings or when they are not in the Finca.
The social areas, guest kitchen and all other rooms remain accessible to guests 24 hours a day.
The property is on one hectare of land. The entrance has parking for 10 cars in front of the main house which has bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 as listed.
To the rear is the swimming pool, deck area and a large pool cabana. There is also a 'fire-pit' area with ambient lighting and relaxing chairs and hammocks - This is a popular relaxation area, often used in the evening for conversation, singing, or roasting marshmallows.
Further back there is a large 'salon social' which is the social area for roof-covered activities. This has a bar and bar stools with a fridge for guest beverages, a large seating area, a pool table and a table-football game. There are also many portable games and books available for guests to enjoy.
Next to the social area is bedroom 4. This a large dormitory with 4 double beds with an ensuite hot water shower and toilet.
On the other side of the social area there is a fully equipped open-air country kitchen with a fridge, large gas cooking hobs, a wood fire, a large bbq and tables and chairs in the kitchen patio, overlooking the rear of the property, which faces west for amazing sun-sets.
The rear of the property has a large private tropical-style cabana. Guests are welcome to relax anytime on the patio deck. Next to this is a grass area called a 'cancha' which is a mini-football field with goal posts at each end, which can be used for any sport or exercise activity.
The remaining third or so of the property to the rear is the plantation area which has a pathway leading down through the many fruit trees such as plantains and bananas. There is no exit or entrance to the rear, and the gate is usually kept locked, but guests are welcome to enter on request.

It is suggested you bring groceries/beverages with you on check-in, but there are a few small shops and cafes within walking distance for all the basics.
The entire Finca is for you during your booked stay. We ourselves live in Pereira and are contactable anytime.
The main house will be locked in the evenings. During the day this is used by the housekeeper and the groundsman, both of whom clean and maintain all areas daily.
Whilst all guests will have their own space and privacy, the main house will be occupied by the housekeeper and groundsman during the day, a husband and wife team, employed full-time and live close-by. The public areas will be cleaned and maintained daily including the pool.
The property, like most Fincas, has a few friendly animals as permanent residents. So you will meet a few dogs, cats, two large rabbits, some tropical birds and possibly Dave, the Iguana! If for any reason, such as phobia or allergy, anyone does not want to be near domestic animals, we suggest you do not stay at our finca.
The Finca is located in the small pueblo of 'El Retiro' - There are a few other Fincas in the area.
The Finca is 2km from the main road. Far enough to not hear traffic, and near enough to go to supermarkets. The center of Pereira is a 30 minute drive from the Finca. There is also a bus right outside the Finca gate that goes to Pereira every 20 minutes. The village of 'El Retiro' is a 1 minute walk from the Finca. This has a local school for the surrounding pueblos, a police station, a church and a 'tienda' - This is the local term for a small kiosk/bar/eatery/general store.
