Buntes House was born as an idea to create a space for those who seek the comfort of feeling at home in an environment where they can share with other people in a comfortable and calm atmosphere. If you are a traveler and you are looking for a neighborhood with a strategic, safe, beautiful and residential location and where you can connect with the local culture, then this is the place for you!
We are not a hostel, but we are not a common Airbnb either, at Buntes house you can choose between using our large fully equipped kitchen or ordering our typical super breakfast prepared by our charismatic and charming head housekeeper.
The space has 8 rooms ranging from quadruple, triple, double and single, some with private bathroom and others with shared bathroom. They all have a different decoration and touch of color, they have Smart TV, access to netflix, youtube and internet in general, so if you are a digital nomad and internet speed is a priority for you , our 100 Mb of speed will allow you to work comfortably from any corner of the house.
The rooms also have everything you need to enjoy a pleasant stay; comfortable beds with sheets, blankets and two pillows per person, towels, closet, bedside table and reading light, power outlet and fan for those hotter days in Medellin.
Most of the rooms have natural light and large windows to the outside, although there are some whose windows face the interior of the house, check before booking if you have any questions about it.
At the moment our rooms do not have a desk, however, we have spaces where it is possible to work with a computer, such as the living room and dining room.
Come and also enjoy our open terrace, where you can take a sunbath and have a good breakfast.
The house has a total of 300 m2 and is very spacious, the common spaces are very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love and not to mention our exceptional location, the accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the Floresta metro station and about 15 from the stadium station, also if you want a little more action, you can have a short walk to av 70, an area famous for its bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
Walking just one block away you will also find Av 80 with many local shops, greengrocers and supermarkets where you can do your shopping if you prefer to save a little money and prepare your own meals.
In this same area you will also find the Atanasio Girardot sports complex that has a huge sports facility open to the public by simply registering and creating a reservation. Take advantage of jogging tracks, pools of all shapes and sizes, skate park, soccer fields, basketball courts, and much more. Plus, aerobics classes like Zumba, and even salsa, are offered at night for free.
Getting around Medellín from the accommodation is also great since the Floresta metro station is only 5 minutes away, in the same way there are many bus routes that pass through 80 Avenue, which is only two blocks away!

-This listing is for a private room with a double bed (1,40x1,90) and a single bed (1,0x1,90) and two shared bathrooms not a complete apartment or studio apartment. It is a very spacious and comfortable dorm with a very large window that lets in natural light, although it also has dark curtains that allow you to sleep peacefully. In my opinion it is one of the best rooms in the place.
-We are not a common airbnb, the place has 7 more rooms, so if you require something more private and where you do not have contact with other guests, this is not the place for you since the kitchen and other common areas are shared with others.
I am in the place every other day and I have a housekeeper who goes every day from 8 am to 2 pm in addition to my co-host Carlos who lives in the place, all of us with the best attitude and cordiality to answer any questions you may have.
-If you wish to arrive before the check-in time, you can do however is under availability, so you must communicate in advance to confirm. There is also the option of leaving the suitcases until the room is completely organized :)

-The breakfast is a typical Colombian very tasty that includes arepa, colombian cheese, hogao, toast, eggs, butter and coffee or chocolate and has a cost of 7 thousand pesos per person.
-Our housekeeper goes every day to clean common areas and bathrooms, also rooms if you require it so at no additional cost , We care about keeping our space impeccable.
-We have a free garage that is subject to availability, so you must contact us in advance to reserve it.
-The TV in the room has a streaming service, this is Netflix, YouTube and the Internet. If you want to watch national and international channels you can use the two tvs in the living room area.
-The washer and dryer use has an additional cost of 15 thousand pesos per load and we provide you with the detergent.
-Our house is not perfect, it is in a rather old location, however, I can guarantee you that I have made an effort to make it very homey, comfortable and beautiful.
