Fun and funky backpackers hostel popular with art and music lovers. Excellent bathrooms, shared kitchen and plenty of shaded outdoor space.
La Playita features a bar, shared lounge and a lot more shared space on the border of the River Guachaca where you can bathe in the crystal clear water til your heart?s content.
You can float down the river 2km to the Caribbean ocean to the virgin Guachaca beach or a short, motobike, bicycle, car ride away you can find a (slightly) more commercial beach that has great local and rustic restaurants and juice bars.
We are incredibly close to the start of the Lost City trek, to Tayrona Park and many other natural wonders worth visiting such as waterfalls and natural swimming pools.
The units at La Playita come with a shared bathroom and bed linen.
La Playita offers a barbecue. You can play darts at the hostel, and the area is popular for hiking.
We have a small restaurant that can provide breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks for those not wishing to cook.
We are an hour?s bus ride from the city of Santa Marta and 30 minutes from Palomino.
