The 800m2 property lies within a 1 acre tropical garden and has access to the caribbean sea from the garden's edge. Spacious and breezy, the house is a perfect destination for families or corporate retreats. Relax by the large pool or on the beach, go fishing, sailing or waterskiing and be looked after by the house cook & staff.
The house was built by the present owners in 2001 and was designed in a cool Indonesian style, with high thatched rooves and lattice woodwork. It can accomodate up to 16 people with comfort. It has 6 bedrooms, each one opening up onto wooden deck terraces (perfect for siestas in hamacs). It has a large open sitting room overlooking the pool, a colonial-style dining room, a roof terrace, patio garden, pergola for outside dining, a large garage and staff area. The garden lawns, shaded by coconut trees extend to the boat deck and mooring. It lies on a wide canal on the edge of an inland bay of the caribbean.
All bedrooms have a/c, ceiling fan and closet space. Master Bedroom has king size bed (with additional roll-out bed) and private bathroom. 2 bedrooms with 3 single beds and private bathroom in each. 2 further bedrooms with 3 single beds and a shared bathroom. Bedroom 6 has three beds with additonal roll-out bed and can also be used as library/playroom/tv room.
