Positive: Room on the roof of a traditional Cartegina house, right in the heart of Getsemani. Good air conditioning, bathroom, decent sized room. The only fault I could find was the lack of hot water, but given the climate here, you don't need it. Sit on the balcony in the evening enjoying a beer. Watch the action in the barrio below. There's a laneway close by full of street cocktail vendors. You can get a mojito for $3 or $4. There's a shop nearby the house where you can buy most things. The neighbours are friendly, willing to help and look out for people in their community. This is a safe place to stay. Getsemani itself is a romantic Caribbean town with an amazing history. Ramos room is close to the heart of the action, perched on the second floor to get a bird's eye view. Well-priced, beautiful place to stay.
