Positive: Petra Hotel was a simple hotel that fulfilled our needs for a 1 night stay in Nuqui before flying out the next morning. Luis was very kind and helpful and allowed us to check in very early at 9AM after our ferry arrived in Nuqui. The hotel is also a 4 minute walk from the airport, and across the street is a breakfast place which sells arepas. There are also a few restaurants on the same street, including one that surprisingly made an amazing fried chicken sandwich (called a hamburger on their menu). We also really enjoyed our time in Nuqui, despite not reading a lot about it online from other travelers. The town has a good amount of dining options and also has many places to buy groceries/toiletries compared to other towns in the Choco area. We LOVED going to Museo Melele which shares about ancestral knowledge and did a kayaking tour in nearby Tribuga, which is a 1.5 hour walk along the beach from Nuqui or 10 minute tuktuk ride.

Negative: Nothing to complain about - we had a clean bed, fan, and working shower!
