Commons beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the Winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. * Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 4 adults
