Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I liked that the place was very clean. It shows that the "Host" put in a lot of effort to make guests feel as welcome as possible with my name on my door and clear directions of door entry, location, and departure instructions. I liked the SMART door entry. That was pretty cool and made us feel pretty safe in somewhat of a questionable area we were in. We were pretty close to a lot of attractions, which was nice. I would recommend this to maybe a college student or younger couple. The Wi-Fi worked great so probably good for homework or something.

Negative: I didn't really like that there was no covering at all for the windows (no curtain or blinds), especially the window that faces the street. Also it was kind of weird having someone's personal underwear and socks in the drawers and used toiletries under the bathroom sink and in the shower. I attempted to make myself at home, but there was someone's personal belongings everywhere. I tried to take a bath but you couldn't plug the tub or turn on the jets. Probably wouldn't recommend staying a longer time as it doesn't really feel that private. There was no mini fridge that we saw to keep our food we would bring back from restaurants. We felt slightly uncomfortable with the idea of using someone's personal fridge or kitchen downstairs. We appreciate the effort but we are not sure we will be staying here again. Not what we expected or thought when we booked this place. We never met the host "Austin" at all the entire time we stayed and when we would come back in the evenings, the house was always really real dark including the stairs and hallway to our room. Although we felt safe with the entry lock, it still felt like we were basically staying in a stranger's house and bedroom/bathroom while he was there somewhere in the house.

Summary: It was very clean and pretty convenient to St Louis attractions but not what we expected.
