Summary: The hotel is really nice, the architecture is beautiful (we really liked the area where they serve breakfast). The rooftop has an amazing view, and the sunset from there is stunning. Staff are just great, the cook, the woman that serves the breakfast, and all three John, Carlos, and Maiguel were great to us. We were here when the coronavirus lockdown was announced so we came back for one more night (we had to wait for our flight), and everyone was really helpful. We really felt like at home. The location is also great. The Walled City is extremely busy and loud, but because the hotel is towards the edge (in front of the wall), it's more quiet and it feels like a haven. Only thing is there were a few small details like a door handle that fell and the stairs of the pool were a bit wobbly (not a big deal for a small pool). If we were ever going to come back to Cartagena, we'd choose this hotel again.
